LCD demo kit - VSWR meter / Frequency counter
This project was designed to demonstrate the use
of an inexpensive surplus LCD display, the kit contains just a
backlit LCD display, programmed PIC16F818 and if available a 10MHz
crystal.
Note - Firmware is now at version V2 which has
much improved frequency counter accuracy, if you purchased the kit at
Loughborough 2009 please post the PIC16F818 back to me and I will
return another device programmed with the latest code. If you wish to
have a go at programming it yourself the latest data is on this page
along with a link to a suitable programmer. All kits purchased after
October 2009 are OK.
